Plate Monel401

The chemical composition of the alloy is mainly composed of 30% Cu and 65% Ni with a small amount of Fe (1%-2%). Due to the difference in chemical composition, it can have a variety of alloy grades, but there is no significant difference in corrosion resistance between them. Monel401 alloy is more resistant to corrosion by reducing media than pure nickel, and more resistant to corrosion by oxidative media than pure copper. Monel401 is a deformable nickel-copper-based nickel-based alloy with good seawater corrosion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, as well as chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance. This alloy is one of the few alloys that can be used in fluoride. It has good resistance to oxide stress fission corrosion in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, such as seawater and saltwater environments.

Plate Monel K500

MONEL K-500 alloy has corrosion resistance comparable to 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. Has good thermal corrosion resistance and long-term tissue stability. Monel K500 alloy has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400 in addition to its excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties. It can be used as a pump shaft material and is suitable for working under the harsh geological mining conditions of high-sulfur and high-wax oil layers. The alloy has no plastic-brittle transition temperature.

Plate Monel 404

The permeability of alloy 404 (measured at 27°F and a field strength of 0.5 Oersted) will not exceed 1.1. Since its low magnetic permeability is not significantly affected by machining and fabrication, this alloy is particularly suitable for electronic parts. In addition, most of the strength of the 404 alloy remains unchanged at the degassing temperature. Its thermal expansion characteristics are very close to those of many other alloys, allowing negligible deformation when firing clad metal tubes. MONEL Nickel Copper Alloy MONEL404 (UNS N04404) is primarily used in professional electrical and electronic applications. The composition of MONEL 404 alloy has been carefully tuned to provide a very low Curie temperature, low permeability and good brazing properties.
